How to Wear False Eye Lashes

The Trick to Looking good with False eyelashes to Pick a type that suits you, put them on straight, make sure they are secure enough to stay on, and to apply eyeliner on top of them so they blend in with your makeup.
Why Do False Eye Lashes Look So Good?
Most of us accept we look far more glamorous with false eyelashes and that they open up the eye. We love them, yet don't use them enough. They add glamour and polish that no mascara can achieve.
Why are So Many Women Terrified of False EyeLashes?
The Quick answer is because they have never been shown how to put them on and also because they have never practiced. It will take you about 5 or 6 attempts to get it right the first time you try. After this you just seem to be able to put them on. Most of us try once and give up.

Pick The Right Glue
Duo Eye Lash Glue is the number one selling and best false eyelash glue on the market. Anyone who uses lashes would not use anything else. It is strong enough to hold the lashes on, it dries to a dark brown (which hides any errors and removes the problem of having white glue marks around your eyes) and stays liquid enough for long enough to give you enough time to move the lashes about until they fit your eye right. Glues that dry too fast are a disaster - no one gets both lashes on perfect all the time. We all need a bit of wriggle room.
Picking the Right Lashes
A Good Quality lash is essential. The Fuschia Lashes are made from natural hair and feel light on the eye and really open your eye up to look fresher and bigger and just fabulous. There are a number of lengths and styles. The bigger your eyes are naturally and the more dramatic the look you want the strong and longer the lash to go for. Natural-looking false lashes are very popular and work best on smaller more naturally made-up eyes.
Putting The Lashes on Correctly
- Eyes are different lengths so you need to make sure the false lashes you have picked (which are a one-size strip) are cut to your eye length. Place the lash (without any glue) onto your eyelid and fit it to your lash line. Note how much of the lash has to be removed and cut this off - generally, you should cut from the outside of the lash - but some girls do the opposite to give a more dramatic look. Repeat this for your other eye - as both eyes will not be exactly the same size.
- Get your Duo Glue, a cotton bud, a good magnifying mirror, your tweezers, and your lashes all together on the dressing table.
- Place a light drop of the Duo Glue on the lash, rubbing it into an even line on the lash, and let it sit for a couple of minutes to become more glue rather than liquid. Gently either with your fingers or a tweezer hold the lash over the eye and from the outside of the eye lower the false lashes onto the eyelash watermark. Giggle it on the lash till it looks perfect (i.e. is close enough to the normal lashes and fits the length of the eye) and then with your fingers or the cotton bud press the lash firmly into place. Allow drying before putting any eye make on top.
- Repeat for the second lash.
- Wipe away any mistakes with the glue with a damp cotton bud.

Adding Extra lashes
Many people opt to put a few Individual False lashes to the outside of their eye on top of false lashes. Pick these up with your tweezers (a flat head is best) pop on a bit of Duo false lash glue, wait for a minute and place on the outer corner of the eyelash. Normally about three or four individual lashes give the best results.
Makeup & False eyelashes
Most people put all their makeup on (except mascara) before putting the lashes on. They then go over their eyeliner again (to blend the false lashes with their own lashes and hide any mistakes. A strong liner look works best with False eyelashes. Apply the additional eyeliner a few minutes after putting on the false eyelashes so that the glue is completely dry.
Some people put mascara on top of false eyelashes, some don't. Some are afraid of the lashes moving, some feel the false lashes are enough and some just cannot help themselves and want that amazing eye lash look. If you do put mascara on be gentle, use a clump free mascara and one coat is plenty.
Hope this has helped!
