Micro-needling at home improves wrinkles, sagging skin, uneven complexion, acne scars and enlarged pores. As it stimulates hair follicles, it can be of use for hair thinning and hair loss. While intense micro-needling is typically performed in beauticians under clinical conditions, it is now possible to “Top up your Micro-needling treatments at Home” with the revolutionary NEW Oliviere Wilson Home Roller.

This roller has been clinically shown to improve skin appearance and increase the effectiveness and absorption of skincare products. By boosting the collagen levels, the treatment decreases fine lines, improves firmness, and creates a more radiant and even complexion.

Benefits of Home Micro-needling

  1. Reduces fine lines and wrinkles - The micro-channels created by this treatment kick start the healing process. It triggers the epidermis to produce more collagen and elastin, thereby plumping the skin from the sub-layers.
  2. It reduces age spots & pigment, leading to a smooth, even complexion. Inflammation, eczema, acne or sun damage can cause pigmentation. These damages leave your face looking blotchy & uneven. Ultimately, your skin looks rough & old. This treatment improves skin tone.
  3. Exfoliates & removes dead cells. Exfoliation is important because eliminating of dead cells makes your complexion look fresh, smooth, and illuminated.
  4. Improves the absorption of your skincare products. The roller creates tiny holes or channels in the skin. These micro-channels allow serums to penetrate much deeper into the skin. The absorption of active ingredients in your skincare is estimated to be increased by 300% with home micro-needling. You get increased effectiveness and save money.
  5. Reduces scarring- The process of wound healing happens from deep below the skin (in the dermis). This process is called fibrosis. Tissues knit inward and almost glue the edges of the wound together. At times this "Glue effect" can be too strong, and tissues can be pulled together too tightly. This causes pocket marks or deep scars. Micro-needling helps to break down the stuck cells underneath the surface, allowing the epidermis to ‘let go and release the skin's surface, reducing the appearance of the scar.
  6. Reduces pore size - as this treatment stimulates an increase in the supply of blood, oxygen and nutrients to the cells of your dermis (the second layer of skin), it tightens pores.

Ingredients to use with Micro-needling.

  1. Vitamin C. - This brightens and promotes collagen production. It is an excellent complement for this treatment. We recommend Image Skincare Vitamin C Serum or Dermalogica BioLumin C Serum.
  2. Hyaluronic acid. - This attracts and retains water in the cells. Using it after you prep your epidermis with the roller will plump and hydrate the skin, reducing lines and wrinkles. We love to use Dermalogica Hydrating Booster or Image Ageless Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler
  3. Peptides - These peptides or amino acids are the proteins that make up the skin. The best known are collagen and elastin. Adding a serum containing peptides after your treatment can give you a younger-looking, firmer complexion. We love using Image Ormedic Balancing Bio-peptide creme or La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum.
  4. Growth factors. - These are some of the best active ingredients for complete skin rejuvenation. We love Image The MAX Stem Cell Creme

How to use

This home micro-needling roller comes in two depths of needles – 0.3mm and 0.5mm. The deeper the needle, the greater the penetration and benefits of treatment.

It's best to use it at night two to three times a week.

Simply cleanse, use the device and then apply your treatment skincare. The absorption of your serums increases, and the results led to brighter, firmer skin.
