Benylin® Non-Drowsy Chesty Cough Syrup provides a fast acting relief from bronchial congestion with it’s non-drowsy formula specifically formulated for children aged 6-12 years. Featuring the active ingredient guaifenesin that actively thins and loosens the phlegm making your cough more productive while effectively clearing bronchial congestion as the second ingredient levomenthol helps to rElleve congestion making it easier to breathe.

• Chesty coughs are caused by a build-up of phlegm in the lungs and on the chest. The cough mechanism kicks in to get rid of the excess phlegm.
  
• Benylin Non-Drowsy Chesty Cough works to make your cough more productive, loosening and thinning the phlegm.
  
• Features guaifenesin than loosens and thins the phlegm and levomenthol that relief congestion making it easier to breathe.
  

Directions for use:

• Children aged 6-12 years: 10ml, up to 4 times per day.
  
• Do not exceed the recommended dose of 40ml (400mg guaifenesin) per 24 hour period.
  
• Use for more than five consecutive days is not recommended
• Sugar and colour free.
• Not recommended for children aged 6 years and under.
  

Warnings:

• Benylin Children\\\'s Chesty Coughs is not suitable for persistent or chronic coughs, such as those that occur with asthma, or where a cough is accompanied by excessive secretions unless directed by a physician doctor.
  
• If your cough tends to recur or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache, a doctor should be consulted.
  
• Caution should be exercised in the presence of severe renal or severe hepatic impairment.
  
• Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine.
  
• Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine.
  

Ingredients:

• Each 5 ml of cough medicine contains 100mg guaifenesin and 1.1mg levomenthol.
