For the fast acting symptomatic rEllef of painful inflammatory conditions of the throat and mouth, Difflam Oromucosal Spray targets pain fast and effectively. Alleviating the pain and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers, sore throats and gums and to treat and manage inflammation following dental surgery, and the removal of the tonsils (tonsillectomy). Difflam Oromucosal Spray featuring Benzydamine also acts as a local anaesthetic which numbs the area of concern, providing immediate rEllef when sprayed directly into the mouth or throat.

• Difflam Oromucosal Spray containing Benzydamine treats painful mouth or throat conditions including mouth ulcers, sore gums and throats.
• Delivering an anaesthetic effect that causes numbness ideal for post dental surgery and after surgical removal of the tonsils (tonsillectomy) or the use of a tube passed through the nose into the stomach.
• Difflam spray is sprayed directly into the mouth or throat to rElleve pain and inflammation.

Directions for use:

• Adults and the elderly: 4-8 puffs, 1 ½-3 hourly.
• Children aged 6-12 years: 4 puffs, 1 ½ -3 hourly.
• Children aged 6 and under: 1 puff to be administered per 4kg of body weight up to a max of 4 puffs, 1 ½-3 hourly.
• Do not exceed seven days of treatment, unless medically instructed.

Warnings:

• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• If the condition is aggravated or not improved use should cease.
• This medicine should not be used if you are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients
• Benzydamine use is not advisable in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
• Bronchospasm may be precipitated in patients suffering from or with a previous history of bronchial asthma. Caution should be exercised in these patients.
• Difflam Spray should not be used in pregnancy or lactation unless considered essential by the physician.

Ingredients:

• Each puff (175 microlitres) contains 262. 5 micrograms of Benzydamine Hydrochloride (0.15% w/v).
• Excipients: Each puff contains 0.17mg of Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and 14mg of Ethanol.
