Nutriderma Airways Pillow Spray (100 ml)

Out of stock!
This is an organic essential oil spray built for night time decogestion.
It combines 7 organic essential oils traditionally used for decongestion and easy breathing:
- eucalyptus globulus,
- ravensara,
- melaleuca (tea tree),
- peppermint,
- rosemary,
- bay laurel
- lavender,
- lemon oil.
A few sprays on the pillow 10 to 15 minutes before bed fills the air just above the pillow with a gently decongesting scent.
7 Organic Essential Oils Combined
Each oil in the blend brings a different property.
- Eucalyptus (eucalyptol/1,8-cineole) is the classic decongestant essential oil traditionally used to ease stuffy breathing.
- Ravensara and bay laurel are North African and Madagascan essential oils with a long tradition for respiratory (chest) comfort.
- Melaleuca (tea tree) is a well-known antimicrobial oil.
- Peppermint (menthol) contributes the cold, opening sensation that helps clear congested nasal passages (Mint tricks the nose into thinking air is flowing through).
- Rosemary is included for its traditional airway-clearing effect.
- Lavender is there for the calming, sleep-promoting side. This is because a decongestant-only spray would be too stimulating for bedtime.
Together, the blend is designed for the specific problem of feeling blocked up at night.

FAQs: Nutriderma Airways Pillow Spray
How does the Airways spray help at night?
Mist sprayed on the pillow creates a light scent in the air directly around the sleeper's face. The decongesting oils (eucalyptus, peppermint, ravensara, bay laurel) give the traditional cold-and-blocked-nose essential oil effect while the lavender keeps the blend sleep-appropriate.
How do I use the Airways spray?
Shake well, mist 2 to 3 sprays on the pillow from 20 to 30cm, 10 to 15 minutes before bed. Let the spray dry before lying down.
Can I use this with nasal decongestant spray?
Yes. The pillow spray is not a medicine and does not interact with decongestant sprays, antihistamines or cold medications. Many users combine both. A nasal spray before bed plus the pillow spray for the ambient aromatic effect.
Can children use Airways pillow spray?
Peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils are traditionally cautioned in young children because of menthol sensitivity. For children under 6, check with your pharmacist. For older children, apply a single light spray on the pillow rather than multiple sprays.
Is Airways spray safe in pregnancy?
Some essential oils (rosemary, peppermint in particular) are traditionally cautioned in pregnancy. Check with your pharmacist before use in pregnancy.
Does it actually help clear congestion?
It does not treat or cure colds. It gives airway comfort at night and is best used alongside standard cold remedies (saline rinses, decongestants if appropriate, hydration, rest).
Is Airways Spray a medicine?
No. It is an aromatherapy product, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
How is it different from the Sleep Pillow Spray?
Sleep Spray is calming and for general bedtime wind-down. Airways Spray has decongesting oils for night time stuffy noses and respiratory comfort. Choose based on which problem is your priority; both can be used in rotation.
- Shake well before use
- Mist 2 to 3 sprays on the pillow from 20 to 30cm
- Apply 10 to 15 minutes before bed to let the spray dry
- Use nightly during cold or congestion episodes
- Store the bottle sealed, upright, in a cool place away from direct light
Best Time to Use Airways Spray
- 10 to 15 minutes before bed during a cold, flu or allergic rhinitis episode.
- Short-course use: 1 to 2 weeks during an acute cold is more typical than continuous daily use.
- For chronic allergic congestion, longer-term use is possible but try to treat what is causing this first.
How Long Before Airways Spray Works
Most users notice the effect from the first night of use.
- For acute colds, the spray is used alongside other remedies during the 1 to 2 weeks of symptoms.
- For chronic congestion, a longer course combined with nasal saline and allergy identification is the better approach.
What to Use with Airways Spray
- Nasal saline rinse or spray for clearing mucus directly
- A humidifier or steam inhalation for additional respiratory comfort
- Vitamin C, zinc and elderberry for immune boost during acute colds
- Propolis syrup or honey-based products for throat comfort
- Chest rubs (eucalyptus-camphor based) applied to the chest, not the face
