Who can take Viagra?

How Does Viagra Connect Work?

Without sexual arousal, Viagra will cause an erection, and after sex, your erection will go away as normal. It takes 30 to 60 minutes to work, and its effect can last up to 2 hours – meaning you can have several erections with one dose.

Sidena Sildenafil contains a drug called Sildenafil, which causes muscle relaxation. This muscle relaxation leads to a widening of the blood vessels in the penis, increasing the blood flow to the area and then leading to an erection.

The initial muscle relaxation happens because Viagra stops a chemical called cGMP from breaking down. This increased level of cGMP binds to receptors, which trigger muscle relaxation.

As Viagra also binds to these cGMP receptors (i.e., it mimics cGMP), Viagra’s effect on both muscle relaxation and blood vessel dilation is further increased.

Side Effects of Viagra

Clinical trials of Viagra have found it to be safe in most men and have a relatively low rate of side effects.

The most common side effects reported in trials include nasal congestion & flushing, headache, and photophobia with blurred vision.

Rarer side effects include prolonged erections (Priapism), low blood pressure, sudden hearing loss, heart attack, stroke, and uneven heartbeats.
