- Place thinly onto the affected area 4 hourly / 5 times daily.
- To avoid spreading the virus, apply with a cotton bud. If you must use your fingers be sure to wash them thoroughly before and after application. The cold sore virus is very contagious so cleanliness will prevent from spreading.
- Most cold sores respond to treatment in about 4 days. However, some may take a little longer, so continue using the cream for a further 6 days. If after10 days of use, your cold sore hasn’t healed consult your medical professional and stop using the cream.
- Avoid getting cream in your eyes.
- Do not use in sensitive areas such as inside the mouth or vagina.
- Do not swallow the cream
